Charles Oliveira vs Dustin Poirier Odds & Prediction

Dustin "The Diamond" Poirier (-165) is fighting someone other than Conor McGregor for the first time in over a year as he seeks his second shot at the lightweight title. Meanwhile, Charles "Do Bronx" Oliveira (+135) is making his first championship defence after claiming the title in May.

Poirier has been on a tear recently, winning eight of his previous ten fights, with one no contest and one loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov. With the no-contest, he has a 28-6 record, with 21 of his victories being finishes, including 14 knockouts. Two of his losses were by knockout, and the other two were by submission.

While The Diamond has seven submissions in his resume, he hasn't had one since a D'Arce choke victory over Jonathan Brookins in 2012. He hasn't landed multiple takedowns in over a year, averaging only 1.50 per 15 minutes.

The southpaw possesses exceptional speed and production on the ground, averaging 5.62 significant strikes per minute and absorbing 4.19. Simply put, Poirier prefers to turn it into a dogfight, going shot for shot to see who has the greater chin and conditioning.

Amanda Nunes vs Julianna Pena Odds & Prediction

Amanda "Lioness" Nunes (-900), perhaps the women's GOAT, returns to defend her bantamweight title for the first time in two years after back-to-back featherweight defences. Julianna "The Venezuelan Vixen" Pena (+550) aims to capture UFC gold for the first time in five years by posting a string of victories.

Pena is 2-2 in her previous four matches, having lost to former champion Germaine de Randamie and current champion Valentina Shevchenko. She has a record of 10-4 with seven stoppages, including four submissions, and three losses by stoppage (two submissions, one knockout).

Coming out of the Spokane, Washington, jiu-jitsu camp, you can tell she puts a lot of focus on grappling, just like her partner Michael Chiesa. The Venezuelan Vixen has secured at least one takedown in each of her eight UFC fights, averaging 2.49 takedowns per 15 minutes.

However, she's been knocked out in six of those fights, including a total of six times in her previous three. On her feet, she normally throws one strike at a time, attempting to close the distance by making large motions.

Nicco Montano (win – unanimous decision), Germaine de Randamie (loss – submission), and Sara McMann (won – submission) were Pena's last three fights.

Geoff Neal vs Santiago Ponzinibbio Odds & Prediction

Geoff "Handz of Steel" Neal (-1110) is on a losing run for the first time in his career, having lost his last two fights. Meanwhile, in June, Santiago "Argentine Dagger" Ponzinibbio (-110), for the first time in nearly three years, won for the first time.

Ponzinibbio, like Neal, had been on a seven-fight winning streak before suffering an injury and losing to Jingliang Li in his comeback after a 27-month absence. He has a 28-4 record with 15 knockouts, but three of his losses have been by knockout.

The Argentine Dagger isn't seeking about to end on the canvas. He only has two takedowns in 13 UFC fights and averages 0.46 takedowns per 15 minutes.

The traditional fighter prefers to engage in a brawl, averaging 4.65 major strikes per minute and sustaining 4.38. He has excellent conditioning and resiliency, allowing him to withstand a lot of hits while still moving forward and making the fight tense. Ponzinibbio is a high-volume fighter with a lot of combinations and a good striking mix.

Neil Magny (win – knockout), Jingliang Li (loss – knockout), and Miguel Baeza (won – unanimous decision) were Ponzinibbio's last three fights.

Kai Kara-France vs Cody Garbrandt Odds & Prediction

Cody "No Love" Garbrandt (-175), a former bantamweight champion, is set to make his flyweight debut. When he fights No. 6-ranked Kai "Don't Blink" Kara-France (+145), who is coming off a knockout win in March, he'll be looking to make an early mark in the division.

Garbrandt was the former champion, but he has struggled since then, losing four of his last five fights. He's now 12-4, with 10 knockout victories and three knockout losses.

Despite being a skilled grappler, No Love prefers to keep the fight standing, with only 1.05 takedowns every 15 minutes on average. He averages 3.17 significant strikes per minute on the ground while absorbing 4.14.

He has incredible speed and footwork, and everything he throws has a lot of power behind it. His fighting IQ, though, has been questioned at times. He is easily provoked into a gunfight, which pulls him out of his hit-or-miss skill set.

Pedro Munhoz (loss – knockout), Raphael Assuncao (victory – knockout), and Rob Font (loss – unanimous decision) were Garbrandt's last three opponents.
