Dana White responds to Jake Paul demands on fighter pay
Jake Paul's demands elicited a quick response from Dana White. Paul issued a list of requests to UFC president Dana White on Saturday, after White denied claims that he uses cocaine and questioned whether the YouTuber-turned-boxer is taking performance-enhancing drugs earlier in the week.
The majority of Paul's demands revolved around fighter pay. He said he would join the UFC's drug-testing program run by the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and submit to random testing ahead of a one-off UFC fight against Jorge Masvidal if White upped the minimum payout for fighters and increased revenue share.
Needless to say, White isn't interested in taking up the offer.
On Saturday evening, White responded to Paul on social media with a video. He repeated his prior offer to Paul, but also went into detail about his boxing career, chastised his advisor, former UFC CFO Nakisa Bidarian, and challenged the two to enter the MMA promotion business if they believe the athletes deserve more.
Paul has yet to respond to White's proposal to randomly test Paul for steroid use for two years while also subjecting him to random cocaine testing for a decade.
The media back-and-forth between Paul and White has been going on for about a year, and it's just getting worse as time passes.
