Pokémon Go XP Challenge quest steps and rewards
In Pokémon Go, the XP Challenge will last until January 2022. The Stardust Challenge, which was established last month as part of the Season of Heritage, is the second monthly challenge. Every day in January, you'll get double catch XP for your first catch, and you'll be able to complete the XP Challenge for a new avatar item if you have access.
How to access the XP Challenge in Pokémon Go
You must pre-purchase a Tour: Johto ticket by Monday, January 10th, 2022 if you wish to accomplish the XP Challenge in Pokémon Go.
These tickets can only be purchased using PokéCoins from the in-game store, which can be accessed from the main menu. The cost of a ticket is £9.99 / $11.99. Pre-purchasing a ticket gives you access to not only the XP Challenge and the whole Tour: Johto event, but also the Catch Challenge in February.
Steps and rewards for the XP Challenge quest in Pokémon Go
All of the qualifications and awards for the January XP Challenge in Pokémon Go are listed here. Because this part contains spoilers for the entire adventure, we recommend skipping it if you want to be surprised.
The XP Challenge, like the Stardust Challenge last month, is separated into 15 distinct steps and an aggregate tally for the XP you'll earn for the main reward.
It's worth noting that, while the total tally remembers every XP point you earn until you reach the objective, the individual steps reset. This implies that if you get 10,000 XP and are only 100 XP away from completing a step, the leftover XP will not contribute toward the next stage.
The Goomy Hat is the main prize for completing the XP Challenge, and if you don't complete it or participate in it, this item will be available in the in-game avatar store when January ends.
Daily play, catching a large number of Pokémon, raiding, raising your friendship level, and completing special or scheduled research objectives are all great methods to gain XP. We recommend utilizing a Lucky Egg to double your XP rewards if you haven't completed the XP Challenge by the end of January.
You'll get a tiny amount of XP for finishing each phase in addition to the rewards listed below.

|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1,000 total XP | 15 Poké Balls |
