Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks: Player-Created Domains

It is rumored that, similar to the dungeons and domains established by developer Mihoyo himself in Genshin Impact, gamers will soon be able to do the same. This has to deal with the Mihoyo-developed game's leaks and what information has already been made public, such as upcoming characters, weaponry, and opponents. Leaks and possibly individuals with access to yet-to-be-released content from the 2.5 Beta Test have spread this knowledge to the broader public.

Divine Ingenuity, a rumored forthcoming event in Genshin Impact version 2.5, will allegedly allow players to construct and create their own domains for other players to travel and challenge. According to the leaker, Mihoyo has not implemented any functions that will allow players to place monsters or adversaries in the
domain, but instead will only allow them to place traps and obstacles in the defined mode available during the event. It's worth noting that before the developed domain can be published and made available to the broader player population, it must first be defeated by its creator.

It's impossible to say that the occurrence came completely out of the left field as a result of the teapot's furnishings being introduced in recent patches of Genshin. Leisure Device: Rhythmic Sprinter was introduced with patch 2.3, allowing players to establish the start and finish points for impromptu races in their teapots. This was emphasized even further with the last patch's release of Speedy Rhythm, which let players establish checkpoints in "time attack tracks," as mentioned by the creators themselves in the item description of this furniture.

It's probable that those items were placed in the teapot to see if it was possible to provide players the opportunity to design their own domain, one that was specialized to the purpose of obstacle courses, race tracks, and timed runs. 

The restriction of not allowing domains to be published until the domain creator has completed them was apparently put in place to avoid the scenario of a large number of uncompleted player domains throughout the event's lifetime. To put it another way, with more tools at their disposal, players will probably be able to design more intricate courses than those currently feasible with the Serenitea pot's furnishings.
