Monster Hunter Rise: How to play with friends in multiplayer
In Monster Hunter Rise, joining hunts with your friends and other players can help you take on tougher monsters and collect some of the higher-quality resources you'll need for your gear. You'll be able to easily join hunts with your friends, and you'll be able to do so from a single spot in the town. Here's how to play Monster Hunter Rise multiplayer with your buddies.
When you're ready to play a game with your friends, head to the front of the village and chat with Senri the Mailman, a Palico who can be found standing on a red box adjacent to Fugen the Elder in the Steelworks section.
The first choice you must choose after interacting with Senri is to play the game online. When you click it, you'll be able to search for a lobby, create one, connect with hunters, or search by lobby ID. Select Create a Lobby if you want to host the game. Choose to search by lobby ID if a buddy is hosting the game, and make sure your computer meets the requirements to find it.
If you wish to sync with random players online, you may always find a lobby by selecting the quest type, the target you want to pursue, the lowest and maximum Hunter Rank, and the language. However, if you only want to play with your pals, creating a lobby and searching by lobby ID are your best bets.
After you've synchronized with your pals in the lobby, all you have to do now is go to the Gathering Hub Quest area and choose the quest you want to perform. Before you begin, make sure everyone has had time to calibrate their equipment and consume Dango.
