Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks: Shadowy Husk monsters can be affected by Anemo CC units

The Shadowy Husks were once thought to be immune to Anemo CC, according to early Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks, but this is no longer the case. According to new information, they can be affected by Anemo's suction abilities just like any other adversary. As a result, any player that prefers Anemo characters should find them easier to manage. It's also worth noting that these foes are vulnerable to other CC effects like freezing.

In Genshin Impact, there are three sorts of Shadowy Husks:

• Standard Bearer: Can create shields for its allies if it hits shielded characters.
• Line Breaker: Can heal its allies if it hits shielded characters.
• Defender: Can use a shield to block DMG if it previously hit shielded characters.

All three categories are represented here, demonstrating that they are now all susceptible to this type of CC. The video just shows Venti's Elemental Burst, but any other Anemo CC should have a comparable effect.

This nerf will aid players in dealing with multiple of these enemies at the same time (should they still wish to use shields). While under this CC, these adversaries can still attack adjacent players, but their movement will be severely restricted.

In Genshin Impact 2.5, Shadowy Husks are also susceptible to being frozen. As a result, players don't have to rely entirely on Anemo CC to cope with these brand new foes. The original Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks didn't say anything about them being immune to the Frozen status illness, thus this isn't a nerf per such.

Other details about the Shadowy Husk

Travelers will reportedly encounter these foes in two locations:

• Musk Reef (west of the Spiral Abyss)
• On an island west of Inazuma City

It's also worth noting that their appearance in Genshin Impact 2.5's Spiral Abyss has been leaked. On Floor 12, Chamber 3, all three types can be found. As revealed in previous leaks, these Shadowy Husks should still be vulnerable to the Anemo and Frozen CC.

There are other videos that demonstrate their anti-shield powers. A-Line Breaker heals nearly half of his health in four seconds in the example above. Although their strikes are slow and easy to control, the amount of healing they provide might cause problems for shield users when numerous foes attack at the same time.
