Monster Hunter Rise: How To Play The Sonic The Hedgehog Crossover and unlock Layered Armor

After making its debut on the Nintendo Switch in 2021, Monster Hunter Rise is now available on PC. Aside from additional graphics options and improved performance, the PC edition of Capcom's latest monster-slaying smash includes all free post-launch content published up until version 3.6.1, including Sonic the Hedgehog crossovers.

Two new Event Quests have been added to the Sonic the Hedgehog partnership, allowing you to obtain Sonic-themed Layered Armor for your Hunter, Palico, and Palamute. Here's how you get access to the special tasks and dress up like the blue hedgehog.

To begin, go to Monster Hunter Rise's village hub's Steelworks location and speak with Senri the Mailman. To add both of the Sonic-themed objectives to your quest board, go to "Add-on Content" and collect the "Gotta Hoard Fast!" and "Super Shady Look-alike" Event Quests. Alternatively, you can just select "Collect All" to obtain all of the presently available DLC.

After that, visit the Gathering Hub and speak with Minoto the Quest Maiden. The "Gota Hoard Fast!" Event Quest is the greatest place to start because it's a straightforward quest that you can do right away.

This mission requires you to gather 200 of Sonic's golden rings in a timed race, with different rankings granting varying rewards based on how soon you can collect all 200. You'll earn an S-rank and unlock Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles figurines that you may proudly display in your Hunter's home if you finish in under three minutes. As soon as the event starts, jump on your Palamute's back to move around the area as rapidly as possible. To create the armor set, you'll also need Nargacuga+ Monster Pieces, therefore you'll have to re-run this quest or another Nargacuga hunt numerous times to get all of the parts you need.
