Pokémon Go: How to get the Season of Heritage: XP Challenge Timed Research

In Pokémon Go, the Season of Heritage: XP Challenge Timed Research task rewards you with a number of rare items and exclusive encounters. You must complete it in a timely manner before it disappears, just like the other Timed Research challenges in Pokémon Go, and many of these challenges have you working your way through the game. But it's different and more exclusive during the Season of Heritage: XP Challenge. This is how to receive Season of Heritage: XP Challenge Timed Research on your Pokémon Go account.

It's crucial to note that this Timed Research will not be available to all Pokémon Go players. Repurchasing the Pokémon Go Tour: Johto ticket before January 10 is the only way to unlock it for your account. You can purchase that ticket on the event's official website, and you must purchase the Gold or Silver edition of the ticket. The tickets are nearly identical, however, some have a few more rare Pokémon encounters and a higher possibility of seeing certain Pokémon as shiny forms.

You must log in to your Pokémon Go account on your phone before January 10 after purchasing a ticket from the Pokémon Go Tour: Johto website. If you don't, the ticket will be rejected. Also, even if you buy the ticket, you will not obtain the Season of Heritage: XP Challenge study on your account if you miss the timer.

After your Pokémon Go account has been activated, you may begin working your way through the XP Challenge to unlock all of the rewards. To finish, you have until January 31 at 11:59 p.m. in your local time zone. You'll also get early access to the February Timed Research, which kicks out on February 1st.
