What do you get with the Pokémon Go: Johto Tour ticket

Following the popularity of the inaugural Pokémon Go Tour event in Kanto, the game is holding another one in Johto for the second generation games. The event will take place between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. local time on February 26, 2022. While you will get access to a few of the Johto Pokémon without purchasing the $11.99 ticket, you will not be able to participate in all of the event celebrations. When you purchase the Pokémon Go Tour: Johto Ticket, you will receive the following items.

Once you've purchased a Pokémon GO Tour: Johto Ticket, you'll be ready to go when the event kicks out on February 26. If you order by the 10th of January, you'll have access to exclusive Season of Heritage Timed Research for both January and February. If you order before February 10th, you will only receive the February timeline research. If you finish either line, you'll get a Masterwork Research line, which is expected to be difficult. During the event, completing Special Research will allow you to meet a Celebi who learns a special move.

As a homage to the fact that each generation of the mainline Pokémon games has different versions, you'll be able to choose between a Gold or Silver edition of the ticket, which will be available as the event approaches. You can't go back and alter your mind once you've made a decision. If you have a ticket, you will be able to catch Pokémon that first appeared in Pokémon Gold and Silver in the wild, through research, eggs, or raids. There will be some exclusive Pokémon in each iteration, as well as shiny Johto Pokémon that will appear at a faster rate. If you have a friend who is also purchasing a ticket, make sure you buy the other one so you may trade the exclusives below.

• Gold exclusives – Spinarak, Gligar, Teddiursa, and Mantine
• Gold shiny Pokémon increased chances – Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Spinarak, Igglybuff, Natu, Hoppip, Sunkern, Misdreavus, Wobbuffet, Gligar, Shuckle, Teddiursa, Swinub, Mantine, and Ho-Oh
• Silver exclusives – Ledyba, Delibird, Skarmory, and Phanpy
• Silver shiny Pokémon increased chances – Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Ledyba, Cleffa, Sudowoodo, Hoppip, Yanma, Pineco, Delibird, Skarmory, Houndour, Phanpy, Miltank, Larvitar, and Lugia

While the above shiny Pokémon will appear at a faster pace, every Johto Pokémon, including Unown, will have shiny variants. There will also be nine collection challenges going on. To finish them all, you'll need to perform some trading with the other ticket version.

Kanto celebration

Finally, while the major event takes place on Saturday, February 26, the next day will commemorate the fact that you were able to travel to Kanto after defeating the Elite Four thanks to the Gold and Silver games. Kanto Pokémon will come quickly, but they will only be available in a few cities on this day. This occurrence will have no bearing on the previous day.
