In Rainbow Six Extraction, you might be assigned to a variety of missions. Sabotage is one of these types of missions. To demolish Archaean pillars, you must put and protect bombs around the region in sabotage missions. In Rainbow Six Extraction, this is how you perform Sabotage missions.

One of the most difficult mission types in the game is sabotage. You'll be tasked with finding an Archaean monument, such as a pillar, and planting a bomb on it when you first join a Sabotage operation. It is advised that you pack some powerful weapons because things will quickly get difficult.

Continue exploring the region until you are alerted that you are close to the goal. Check the area for attackers and nests before dropping the bomb. To make things a little easier, take them out before proceeding. It's also crucial to secure the area before dropping the bomb. Prepare to protect the goal once the bomb has been placed.  

Depending on the difficulty level of the region, you will have to defend the objective against waves of Archaeans for a set length of time. The opponents will cease attacking once the bomb goes off, and you will be free to move on or leave the location.
