Rainbow Six Extraction: How to complete Specimen missions

Specimen missions are one of the various mission types available in Rainbow Six Extraction. This mission type asks you to locate and examine a target. That is far easier said than done, and this type of assignment can quickly spiral out of control. In Rainbow Six Extraction, here's how you fulfill Specimen missions.

You'll be charged with tracking down an elite target when you start a Specimen operation. Elite targets have a health bar above their heads and are more powerful than normal targets. Take your time searching the map for the target. When you approach close enough, you'll get a notification that the elite target is nearby. You'll also be cautioned against killing the target.

The goal of Specimen missions is to get the target to the extraction zone alive. With some shots or merely entering the target's field of view, you can alert the target to your location. Before catching the elite's notice, be sure to remove any other adversaries in the area. This will prevent you from being swamped.  

Activate the trap once the target is near the extraction zone. Interacting with the little console at the extraction zone accomplishes this. The target will be captured when it enters the region, and the mission will be completed.
