WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Brock Lesnar wins the 2022 Royal Rumble

The Royal Rumble, one of WWE's biggest events of the year, will take place in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday night. The Royal Rumble, an annual event filled with surprises and drama, also kicks off WrestleMania season and the countdown to the year's biggest event on April 2 and 3.

Bad Bunny was ranked 27th in the match. Before Sheamus took him out from behind, he took out Sheamus, Owens, and then Riddle. Sheamus attempted to score the elimination with a Brogue Kick, but Bad Bunny yanked the top rope down, sending Sheamus to the floor. Shane McMahon entered the fight at No. 28 and swiftly eliminated Owens in a strange run that saw either Bad Bunny or McMahon score three of the four eliminations. Randy Orton debuted at No. 29 and quickly teamed up with Riddle to take out Big E and Otis.

With Orton, Riddle, McMahon, Bad Bunny, and McIntyre in the final six, Brock Lesnar entered at No. 30. Before eliminating Orton, Lesnar used suplexes to take down everyone. Lesnar tossed Bad Bunny over the top rope after hitting him with an F-5. Riddle was the next to go, followed by McMahon, leaving only McIntyre and Lesnar. Lesnar won the Rumble by blocking a McIntyre Claymore and then doing an F-5 over the top rope on McIntyre.  

This game was a complete disaster. Easily among the top five worst of all time, if not worse. The match dragged badly, and the fans dispersed — then dispersed, even more, when Kingston's major spot failed. And putting McMahon and Bad Bunny in the final five is unquestionably the incorrect decision. The Royal Rumble is won by Brock Lesnar.
