In Elden Ring, the Beastman of Farum Azula is an early game optional boss. Groveside Cave is located in the Limgrave region of the map. For Soulsborne veterans, the Beastman of Farum Azula should be a simple encounter, but for inexperienced players, he will be a brutal introduction to some combat features.

Groveside Cave is located near the Church of Elleh, to the west of the woodland, where players will begin the game.

The Groveside Cave is a straightforward cave. There will be a small drop to the left with some wolves when you enter. You can take them out one by one by luring them up. One wolf is tougher than the others, and dealing with him will take a few strokes.

Drop down and retrieve the luminous items you see, then make your way into the murky darkness. Take out the two remaining wolves before grabbing all of the Silver Fireflies that are shining against the wall. Take out one more wolf and uncover the Beastman's tunnel by heading to the right.

How to beat the Beastman of Farum Azula

This boss is deceptively fast, and at the start of the game, he attacks incredibly hard. Due to the extraordinarily heavy blade it carries, it can totally drain your stamina and poise in just two hits. Dodge rolling and making sure you're not slow-rolling are the best ways to protect against this foe.
