Fortnite: The Book of Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, and Krrsantan Skins added in Fortnite Item Shop
Any gamer who has even a passing knowledge of Fortnite is aware of the game's penchant for crossover skins. Skins from dozens of outside franchises have been added to the free-to-play game, including video games, films, novels, comics, and even real-life people. Fennec Shand and Krrsantan from the Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett have been included in Fortnite's prevailing trend.
The Star Wars skin comes less than 24 hours after the latest Creative Mayhem event, Love is in the Air, was revealed. Players must submit their best death run times in order to qualify for a team tournament under their favorite Fortnite creator during Valentine's Day-themed event. Fennec and Krrsantan's loyalty to Boba is stronger than their feelings for each other.
Fennec Shand and Krrsantan are available in the item shop starting today, according to a post on the official Fortnite website. Fennec's attire includes the Mythosaur Back Bling, a Mandalorian insignia that many Star Wars fans would remember. Fennec's Ship Glider and the This is The Way Emote, which sees Fennec pull out a holoprojector with a message from Din Djarin, are also available for the sniper assassin. Wookiee Krrsantan, the intimidating black-furred gladiator-turned-bounty hunter, comes with the Hutt Clan Symbol Back Bling, and the entire Bounty Hunter Bundle can be purchased together.
Fortnite has re-added Boba Fett and his associated gear, in addition to the two new Star Wars faces coming to the game. The iconic bounty hunter was first added around the time of The Book of Boba Fett's premiere and has recently resurfaced the week before the series' conclusion. The Z-6 Jetpack Back Bling (included with the Outfit), Gaffi Stick Pickaxe, Boba Fett's Starship Glider, and Targeting Computer Online Emote are all returning. These items can be purchased separately or as part of the Boba Fett Bundle.
While the characters from The Book of Boba Fett are sure to become fan favorites, it isn't the only Disney+ cartoon that has lately made its way into Fortnite. Clint Barton and Kate Bishop from Hawkeye have also made an appearance in the game, dressed in their purple and black matching suits from the series' conclusion. Character-specific back bling quivers and the Aerial Archer Glider, which resembles a massive vertical bow, are among the bow-and-arrow-themed accessories included with the archery duo.
Like most Star Wars skins in Fortnite, Fennec Shand and Krrsantan are sure to become popular in the near future. Despite the fact that Fortnite appears to have an overabundance of Disney-owned skins thanks to Star Wars and Marvel, there is still hope for new and different IPs to join the fray. Destiny characters were mentioned in a recent Fortnite survey, so it's possible that another famous series is on the verge of joining the game.
