A new region called The Chasm will be added to Genshin Impact version 2.6. It will, of course, feature new adversaries, puzzles, mechanics, treasures, and challenges. The Chasm will be guarded by a vicious boss known as Ruin Serpent, according to the 2.5 Livestream. It must be defeated in order for players to obtain ascension materials for their favorite characters in the region.

Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks reveal the size and location of Ruin Serpent

In Genshin Impact, Ruin opponents have grown fairly common. Players must be prepared to face a variety of Ruin Guards, as well as Ruin Hunters and Sentinels, in the open environment. Ruin Serpent, on the other hand, isn't simply another Ruin foe. According to the most recent reports, it is enormous in size, far greater than a typical Ruin Guard/Hunter.

The impending boss is a complicated metal, stone, and wood machine. All of the parts were exposed by the model sheets shown during the 2.5 Livestream. To say the least, Ruin Serpent is one of the game's most intricate bosses. It won't come as a surprise if there are certain difficult mechanics that players must remember while fighting it.

In patch 2.6, the Chasm region will contain many Teleport Waypoints and Statues of Seven, as well as a new monster in a dungeon on the northwestern end, according to leakers. The Ruin Serpent's gameplay footage has yet to be leaked, but players may expect it shortly.

Other new enemies and animals that will arrive in Genshin Impact version 2.6

It won't be an exaggeration to say that the next update for miHoYo's action RPG will be jam-packed with the material. These adversaries, aside from the Ruin Serpent, will be added to the game on March 30, 2022:
  • Black Serpent Knight: Windcutter
  • Floating Moldbeast
New animals will also be introduced to the open world:
  • Bluethunder Marten
  • Lucklight Bug
It's worth mentioning that The Chasm will have two different maps. There will be two versions: one above ground and one underneath. The underground variant appears to include the Ruin Serpent. Overall, The Chasm will be only one of patch 2.6's big attractions. Ayato, who will be available as a five-star Hydro Swordfighter, has piqued the interest of players.
