Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks: Raiden Shogun rerun release date and weapons revealed
In the second half of the 2.5 updates, Raiden Shogun will return to Genshin Impact. Kokomi, a five-star Hydro Catalyst user who primarily serves as a healer, will accompany her. The anticipation for Raiden Shogun and Kokomi is palpable. While the former is an unbeatable Electro Archon when combined with Yae Miko, the latter is a powerful healer who can aid players in battling anti-shield foes and clearing end-game content.
Genshin Impact version 2.5: Raiden Shogun rerun release date revealed
The Raiden Shogun banner is expected to become live on March 8/9, 2022, based on the fixed 21-day banner cycle and 42-day update cycle. The release date and timing may differ depending on the player's location. The banners will then be available for 21 days, as the 2.6 updates, which will include a lot of new content, are set to release on March 30, 2022.
The repeat banner for Raiden Shogun will be unveiled at the same time as the rerun banner for Kokomi. Both five-star characters will have their own flags, but sympathy, gentle pity, and four-star characters will be shared.
There is currently no information about the four-star characters included in Raiden Shogun's and Kokomi's flags. Both rerun banners will be accompanied by a brand new Epitome Invocation banner, which will showcase Raiden Shogun and Kokomi's distinctive five-star weaponry.
As a result, the Engulfing Lightning (Raiden's signature Polearm) and Everlasting Moonglow (Kokomi's signature Catalyst) will be returning to the game. Despite this, no information about the featured four-star weapons in the future weapon banner has been released.
Should Genshin Impact players spend their Primogems on Raiden Shogun or Kokomi?
Raiden Shogun is already one of Spiral Abyss' most popular characters. In teams centered on Electro-Charged, Overloaded, and Superconduct responses, her off-field damage-dealing Elemental Skill and on-field explosive Burst DMG are particularly effective. Raiden Shogun is the ideal character to utilize with Yae Miko, as the two of them can deal a lot with Electro DMG.
Kokomi, on the other hand, might be an equally useful character in Genshin Impact, as shield characters are increasingly losing their usefulness. Players are forced to utilize healers due to the Corrosion effect and anti-shield foes such as Shadowy Husks. Kokomi may not be the finest damage dealer in the game, but her healing abilities are unparalleled, and she can make the most of the Heart of Depth artifact set.
