Ghost of Tsushima Horizon Forbidden West Armor: How To Complete Forbidden Shrine

Today, Ghost of Tsushima received a new update, which includes a new armor set inspired by Horizon Forbidden West. Sucker Punch has hidden another Wind Shrine to the north of the map, and completing it will reward you with the Seeker's Attire and Sign of the Hunter headpiece, both of which appear like they could have come straight from Guerrilla's next science-fiction sandbox. Here's how to finish the Forbidden Shrine puzzle and get your hands on the free crossover armor.

Ghost of Tsushima new update - Forbidden Shrine

Only those who own the Iki Island extension, which comes with Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, will be able to play the Forbidden West crossover. To reach Raider Promontory, travel to Iki Island's northernmost tip. Take out the tiny gang of raiders in this area, then turn your attention to the monument overlooking the agitated sea.

The Forbidden Shrine is located here. A scroll with a riddle is placed at the foot of the statue. It says: "The old world has passed away. Life, on the other hand, is never-ending. Concentrate your thoughts. Assume the role of Archer. A Seeker's goal must be to find the truth."

This is a little obscure, but the archer they're referring to is most likely Aloy from Horizon, however, you'll need your own in-universe archer to accomplish the task. Put on Tadayori's armor or his straw hat, whatever you like, in your equipment menu. This armor is obtained after defeating The Legend of Tadayori in the original game.

When equipped, you can utilize the legendary archer's concentrate skill (by touching the touchpad) to see the statue's weak points. They'll glow red, with two on the front and one on the back of the statue. Fire arrows at all three of them in any sequence you like, and that's all there is to it.

Jin bowing at the statue and equipping the special armor will be shown in a short cutscene. Your Tadayori armor set will now include an alternate skin, giving Jin a matching set with Aloy, similar to some of the other crossover armor seen in Ghost of Tsushima, such as God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, and Bloodborne.

If you haven't already, you can continue improving the armor, which will grant you advantages to your bow skills such as faster nocking and reloading, longer concentration duration, and the ability to refill your concentration metre with headshots.
