Horizon Forbidden West: How to fast travel
In Horizon Forbidden West, Aloy's excursions take her all over the place, and the game's fast travel option makes completing the game a lot easier. Here are two methods for getting from one location to another. Horizon Forbidden West makes it slightly more difficult to travel quicker than most other open-world games.
By lighting campfires all across the world, you can unlock new places. If you see one, engage with it to gain easy access to the area. You'll never know if you need to complete a quest or gather a certain item from that zone.
You can freely travel from a campfire once you've located one. To bring up a map, press the circle button and then move the pointer over to the location you wish to relocate to. Press the R2 button once you've hovered over your location to summon Aloy there. If you're using a PS5, the loading screen will take about two seconds to appear. After the brief loading screen, use the cross button to return to the game.
Without a campfire, fast travel can be accomplished everywhere in the world, but it will be more difficult. You'll need a Fast Travel Pack to fast travel from any point in the game. They're hard to come by, especially at the start of the game, so make the most of them.
You can create Fast Travel Packs once you've arrived at a camp with a workshop or if you have Hunter's Kit. To make these, you'll need Ridge-Wood and Wild Meat. Unfortunately, they are unavailable to craft at the start of the game.
