Amazon Games and developer Smilegate are launching the new European server zone one week after the game's first release.

Eight brand-new servers are now up, according to a post on Lost Ark's official forums, and Amazon Games will open more if the need arises.

“We expect opening a new region to reduce, not eliminate, queue times for Europe Central,” Smilegate said via Lost Ark’s forums. “However, players choosing the new Europe West region are much less likely to experience long queues.”

Founder's Pack owners will be able to claim an extra set of things if they transfer to one of the new servers, according to Amazon. However, you must have purchased the Founder's Pack before February 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. PDT / 8:59 p.m. CET. It's unclear if the three Starter Packs are also eligible for the same deal.

The Raiders of the Lost Ark is still the sleeper success that few predicted for 2022. Whether it can continue its momentum is a different matter, but for the time being, Amazon has a hit on its hands.
