Horizon Forbidden West: How to unlock the A Long Glide trophy
The glider is one of the many new toys available in Forbidden West. It comes in handy whenever you need anything to break your fall and allow you to glide down leisurely. It can even be used to traverse jumps that were previously impossible. This new gadget also has a trophy that must be obtained. To earn this trophy, you must glide for 60 seconds without stopping. It's been a long time since I've been in the air. In Horizon Forbidden West, here's how you get the A Long Glide trophy.
If you want to glide for 60 seconds straight, you'll need to climb to the top of something pretty high (hint: it's not the top of Plainsong). It's best to wait until you've accomplished the primary plot task in The Eye of the Earth. You must enter the large, snowy mountain to the west of Plainsong to complete this task. You'll continue west after completing that mission.
Turn around as soon as you leave your base and ascend the peak above it. This is one of, if not the game's, tallest mountains. It doesn't matter which way you leap off once you reach the top; we chose to go west. Just before you touch the ground, this should earn you the accomplishment.
