Horizon Forbidden West: How to use and where to get Dye Flower

Aloy explores the west on a conquest to vanquish Hades and restore the earth to its former glory in Horizon Forbidden West. But you can't do it without considering her style. You can use Dye Flower to change Aloy's clothing color, and here's how to do it and where to find it.

Location of Dye Flower

As you ascend up the rock, you can usually discover colorful flowers like the golden bloom on the hills and mountains. Continue pushing the R3 button to activate Aloy's Sense, and a green triangle icon will appear in the HUD. Climb towards it, and when Aloy gets close enough, she'll grasp the bloom. Flowers appear to be generated at random in our experience.

How to use your dye flowers

A Dyer can be used with the dye flowers. Plainsong, northwest of the Cinnabar Tallneck and north of the MU Cauldron, is where we located our first Dyer. The Dyer is situated at an elevated position in Plainsong's western part.

You'll be on a new menu after speaking with the Dyer. You can see a variety of dye possibilities, as well as the ingredients you'll need on the right. You'll probably need several varieties, so if you see a flower in the wild, pick it up.

If you're having problems locating flowers, you can use your metal shards to purchase additional styles (the currency of the game).
