Lost Ark: What is Knowledge Transfer and how do you do get one
With any MMO, leveling alternate accounts is a pain, but in Tripod Studio and Smilegate's smash hit Lost Ark, there's a way to skip the arduous grind back to the highest level possible with Knowledge Transfer.
When a player spends 600 gold in-game currency on a Knowledge Transfer, the character they choose is sent out for eight real-time hours of "training." When this time period is through, your alternate account will be at the same level as your primary account, so you won't have to worry about running through the continent's main narrative.
Before you can use a Knowledge Transfer, you must first fulfill the following tasks:
- You must complete the main quest of the continent you’re on with one character.
- The character should be at the level cap.
- Unlock the Island Stronghold, and complete the quest to gain access to the area’s training zone.
Knowledge Transfers should be ready to utilize once you've completed these three procedures. You can still play that character if you use a transfer on a second account. However, you must wait eight hours before returning to the Stronghold's training area to earn the awards.
The character will be sent to a tutorial location, where the player will complete the transfer by reading from a book. After that, you'll receive all of the experience points and base items earned from finishing the main plot quests on the continent you sent them to.
