Pokémon Go Tour Johto: How to take a snapshot of Raikou

You can catch every Pokémon in the Johto area during the Pokémon Go Tour: Johto event. It's a celebration of all of the Pokémon that originate from this region, as well as the numerous legendary Pokémon like Raikou that can be found there.

In the original games, Raikou had an unusual concept where players had to pursue it down to find it. The same thing is going on here, and you'll need to take a picture of it. We'll show you how to take a picture of Raikou during the Pokémon Go Tour: Johto event in this guide.

You must first locate Raikou before attempting to photograph it. You'll have to look for it in the wild as if it were a regular Pokémon, which may require you to roam around a bit. Once you've done that, don't try to use any of your equipment or Poké Balls on it because they won't work. Instead, during the interaction, click the camera icon at the top of the screen to capture a picture of it.

You can expect Raikou to flee after the encounter once you take the photograph. When you reencounter Raikou during the Pokémon Go Tour: Johto event, you should now receive a few things that you can use to catch it.
