Lost Ark: How to unlock Mining

The Trade Skills you gain in Lost Ark provides you access to a variety of materials that you can discover as you progress through the game. Mining is an important Trade Skill to learn because it allows you to obtain rare materials. In this article, we'll go over how to unlock Mining in Lost Ark and why it's so important.

It all comes down to finishing the Crown of Lakebar quest, which you'll get when you go across West Luterra. After finishing this quest, you will have access to all six Trade Skills, allowing you to purchase the appropriate tool and begin using it. By pressing the L key on your keyboard, you can access your Trade Skills.

Each Trade Skill has a set of Mastery Skills that provide passive benefits to that trade's skill. When you're utilizing a Trade Skill, make sure you switch to Trade Skill mode and use the skills for that Trade Skill by pressing the B key on your keyboard.

For example, if you're mining minerals, make sure you're utilizing the Pickaxe ability, which costs 30 Life Energy to use. You'll get more Mining passive bonuses as you level up and improve your Mining Skill, which you can see on the right-hand side of your Mining Details tab.
