Lost Ark: How to use emotes

Emotes are a crucial component of the experience of Lost Ark, a Smilegate RPG MMORPG. Not only are emotes a fun way to express yourself and engage with your friends, but they are also employed frequently in particular tasks while engaging with non-playable characters.

In Lost Ark, there are a few different ways to emote. The first method, and the one you should use to begin emoting, is to go to the lower right corner of your screen. To access a variety of tabs, click the "Community" button adjacent to the "Services" button. Between the "Voice Chat" and "Guild" tabs is the "Emote" tab. (Alternatively, simply press the "Y" hotkey.)

When you enter the emote menu, you'll see all of the different emotes available at the time. To do the appropriate emoticon, simply click on one of them. You should memorize all of the emotes you want to use in the future to avoid having to go to this menu, as you can now type the emotes in conversation.

If you want to Dance on command, for example, put "/Dance" into the conversation. For the majority of your quests, this is how you'll emote. As you play the game, you'll be able to pick up more emotes.
