Elden Ring: How to defeat Elemer of the Briar
Elemer is a difficult boss to tackle since he attacks you with his weapon from distance using telekinesis. He is a dangerous opponent who isn't afraid to assault you with a barrage of powerful attacks. Are you prepared to face this threat? This is how Elemer of the Briar is defeated.
Elemer location
Elemer of the Briar is found in the northern side of the Altus Plateau, in the Shaded Castle. This place is easily accessible by taking the lower path north from the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace. The boss lives in a small room at the top of the Shaded Castle. Be wary of the poison in the region, as well as the Cleanrot Knight foes.
Elemer attacks
The boss has a variety of attacks at his disposal to use against you. One of these attacks is a weapon art that allows him to toss and recall his blade psychically. Here are the kind of attacks to be aware of.
Telekinsesis Swings – Elemer will toss out his sword and swing it at a medium distance before recalling it.
Shoulder Charge - Before charging at you, the boss will put their shoulder forward.
Shield Slam – The boss will rapidly grab his shield from his back and slam it to the ground, dealing a minor amount of damage.
Drill Attack — The boss propels their weapon forward, spinning it like a drill. If you are caught in this strike, you will be sent backward as well.
Quick Sword Toss - The boss will quickly throw his sword before quickly retrieving it.
Grab – Before grabbing you, the boss's hand will glow crimson. After then, a massive downward sword swing occurs.
How to beat Elemer of the Briar
Elemer's strikes are mostly avoidable, despite his frightening appearance. If you decide to fight him in melee, strafe around him to try to hit him from behind. If he starts swinging his weapon, easily avoid it by dodging to the left or right. The only strikes you should be aware of are his grab and shield slam, both of which are easy to predict.
If you choose to use ranged attacks, keep an eye out for Elemer's telekinesis blade assaults. If you roll forward or backward, you may easily avoid these. Rolling backward can force the blade to move further away from Elemer, resulting in you being hit. Stick to speedier spells that allow you to move about effortlessly. Charged spells will eventually cause you to be hit.
