Elden Ring, FromSoftware's next venture into cruelty and masochism, features a slew of terrifying bosses eager to thrash players. The Magma Wyrm Makar, one of the bosses, has a couple of abilities that can quickly dispatch unsuspecting Tarnished if you aren't prepared.

After defeating Rennala, Magma Wyrm Makar can be located in the Ruin-Strewn Precipice. After battling poisonous harpies and their ilk, Tarnished will find this boss right outside a fog gate. Due to his length, Magma Wyrm Makar might be a simple kill for melee characters: he takes a little time to spin around, which players must take advantage of.

Players should sit near his tail while dealing damage to take advantage of his long turn animation. Makar tensely pushes himself off the ground before launching an attack, signaling the need to brace a shield with full physical-damage protection.
