Core Keeper: How to get a Workbench

Monsters, loot, and more mining than you can shake a pickaxe at await players in Core Keeper, an underground labyrinth filled with monsters, loot, and more mining than you can shake a pickaxe at. Workbenches and other crafting tools will be required to make use of all of the resources collected by the explorers.

Players will create many workbenches throughout their time in Core Keeper, improving them when new and better resources are discovered. The Basic Workbench, which costs eight wood and may be created in the player's inventory, is the initial workbench that players will need to craft in order to proceed.

After you've built and installed the Basic Workbench, press "E" to interact with it. This unlocks further crafting possibilities for the workbench, which may subsequently be utilized to make other workbenches. The second workbench will require two ores: tin and copper, and this process will repeat itself throughout the game.

Because players will inevitably want more furnaces, chests, and supplies, crews will benefit from centrally situating workbenches. Placing resource chests next to these workbenches, similar to how a central crafting hub is often created in games like Minecraft or Terraria, can help players with their crafting labors even more.
