Elden Ring: How to defeat the Caelem Ruins Mad Pumpkinhead Duo

In Elden Ring, double trouble is often an unpleasant sight, and the Caelem Ruins Mad Pumpkinhead Duo is no exception. If you follow these guidelines, you should be able to defeat this thorny duo in no time. The Mad Pumpkinhead Duo can be found near the Caelem Ruins site of grace, which is southwest of Dragonbarrow West and southeast of the Minor Erdtree Catacombs. They are located to the south of the Isolated Merchant's Shack.

You'll find a stairway to the right of the main entrance as you explore the ruins. There's a campfire nearby, so keep an eye out for flaming skeletons that could blow up in your face. To begin the battle against the Pumpkinhead Duo, descend the stairwell and enter the fog. Unfortunately, we were unable to find anyone to play online co-op with.

Because both Pumpkinheads have slow attacks, make sure you evade them and have at least a medium load on your character. If you have a technique to keep the couple apart, attempt to include it into your strategy. Summoning ghosts could be useful in distracting the flail user. Bloody Slash was also used to attack both Pumpkinheads at the same time.

Wait till the Pumpkinhead has caught its breath before striking after a series of strikes from it. Continue this method until the hammer user is knocked out, then repeat for the flail user. When the passage is clear after defeating the Pumpkinhead Duo, open the box. The Visage Shield, a great shield with decent fire, lightning, and holy protection, will be given to you. Tongues of Fire is another power you can utilize. To properly carry it and use the ability, you'll need 44 Strength.
