Elden Ring: How to enter Heretical Rise in the Mountaintops of the Giants

A locked tower in Elden Ring's great white north, known as the Mountaintops of the Giants, demands you to solve a problem. The tower has a powerful spell, thus any character with a magic build will want to go inside. Players must move to a different region of the map and cross a canyon in order to solve the puzzle. Here's how to enter the tower of Heretical Rise.

After defeating Morgott, the fourth shard bearer, the Heretical Rise tower is available on top of a cliff in the Mountaintops of the Giants. You'll need to return down to the frozen lake and climb up the cliffside across the canyon from the tower to get inside. You must locate the ruins of a shattered bridge with two skeleton archers perched on top of it. Kill them, then go up against the tower. Either take out a torch or turn on your lantern to illuminate the dimly lit bridge.

The journey across the canyon is quite straightforward, with you traveling in a straight line for around 90% of its length toward the tower. Because it's uncertain how broad the bridge is, don't go too far in either direction. The walkway spirals up to the left and onto a tower balcony after you've made it most of the way to the tower. Stick to the walkway and you'll end up on the balcony. Two marionette foes are in this area, while one is on the bottom floor. The item chest is located at the top of the tower.

The Founding Shower of Stars, which will rain down magical projectiles on opponents, may be found inside the chest. This spell costs 46 FP and takes 52 Intelligence to cast. This reward will certainly disappoint non-magic users, but it is an excellent spell for magic builders.
