Elden Ring: How to get to the Grand Lift of Rold

Elden Ring is home to a number of Grand Lifts, including the Grand Lift of Dectus. You'll uncover the Grand Lift of Rold as you proceed through the main quest, which can transport you to either the Mountaintop of the Giants or the Consecrated Snowfield. However, there are a few steps you must complete before you can use the lift.

To gain entry to the Grand Lift of Rold, you must first defeat at least two shard bearers, which will grant you access to the Royal Capital of Leyndell. After that, you must overcome Morgott. After you've defeated him, try to enter the Erdtree's entryway; you'll be denied entry. Melina will offer you the Rold Medallion, which you'll need to activate the elevator if you rest at the adjacent Site of Grace.

You'll now wish to escape Leyndell to the east. After a while, you'll reach a tower with an elevator. Down to the Forbidden Lands using this elevator.

The Forbidden Lands is a narrow strip of land. To reach the Grand Lift of Rold, simply summon your horse and follow the main path northeast. Step up to the lift and engage with it to receive your Rold Medallion, which will transport you to the Giants' Mountaintop.

You can also take the lift to the Consecrated Snowfield, where you'll be able to battle both Malenia and Mohg's bosses. You'll need both the right and left halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion to accomplish this.
