Gran Turismo 7: How to get Gold on the Beyond the Horizon Slipstream mission
When you can't get Gold on the Beyond the Horizon Slipstream task in Gran Turismo 7, it's bad enough, but wait till you figure out what the method to getting Gold is. You'll be like, "Wait, what?!?" They succeeded... WHAT!?!? "How... how... how... how... how... how... how... how... how... You might become so enraged that you send Polyphony Digital a severe email with errors and caps lock because you're too angry to spell properly.
We're having a hard time typing this guide without slamming our fists into the keyboard. On the positive side, you'll be relieved that you can finally get Gold on Beyond the Horizon Mission 3 in GT7 and that you won't be getting 154.7 mph (249 km/h) again and over.
So there you have it. Make sure your Display Settings are set to Display All before starting the Beyond the Horizon Slipstream quest in GT7 to get Gold. Now, on the right side of the screen, just beneath the whole track map, take a look. Do you see that arrow? You can't acquire Gold if it's pointing to the left, so pause the game and go to Exit. Retrying will not change the wind direction. You must actually exit the race and try again.
The wind direction and speed will change every time you Exit and then Start. Simply keep doing it till the arrow points to the right, then try the quest. To get Gold, you'll still need to get the slipstreaming just right, but it won't be impossible.
