Elden Ring: Where to find Ash of War Sacred Blade
You must kill the Teardrop Scarab in the Spiritspring Jump north of the Third Church of Marika, northwest of the Sending Gate opened by D, Hunter of the Dead, to obtain Ash of War: Sacred Blade in Elden Ring. Teardrop Scarabs should be approached quietly and killed with a single hefty blow; otherwise, they will flee, leaving you with a chase.
The Sacred Blade talent is granted by Ash of War: Sacred Blade to any melee armament (excluding whips, fists, and claws). Sacred Blade fires a holy arc projectile that adds 85 Holy damage to the weapon for 20 seconds. The Ash of War: Sacred Blade upgrade also adds the Sacred affinity to your armament, which increases Holy damage and Faith scaling while decreasing physical damage and some damage negations.
Those Who Live in Death, or "undead," as most gamers refer to them, can be defeated using Ash of War: Sacred Blade. It's also a good fit for a Templar or Paladin, or any character who mixes Holy, Faith-based powers with melee fighting (for example, a Prophet or Confessor who's opted to go the warrior route). Although it isn't the greatest option in every case, there are a lot of undead opponents in Elden Ring who are vulnerable to Holy damage.
