Elden Ring: Where to find Astel, Naturalborn of the Void
Astel, Naturalborn of the Void, is one of Elden Ring's more difficult boss encounters. To fight it, you'll need to use all of your skills and abilities. However, you must first locate this terrifying beast in order to confront it and obtain its Remembrance. To get to this place, you'll have to go via a few steps. This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to locate Astel, Naturalborn of the Void in Elden Ring.
Ranni's questline is the key to getting to the place where you can find Astel. You'll need to contact Ranni at Ranni's Rise at the Three Sisters, which is located at the top of Caria Manor, to do so. You'll be assigned to work with Ranni's friends once you arrive. You should concentrate on assisting Seluvis in delivering his elixir to Nepheli, then beating Starscouraged Radagan to assist Blaidd in finding Nokron, and finally gaining entrance to Nokron. You must locate and return to Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade while in Nokron.
After you've delivered the blade to Ranni, travel north of the Three Sisters to Renna's Rise, where you'll pass through a Waygate to get access to Ainsel River Main. Ranni's Doll is inside a coffin there, and you can converse with her at the site of grace on Ainsel River.
Once you've chatted with the doll, proceed down the river until you reach the dam, where you'll find Nokstella. Then, on the west side of Nokstella, take the elevator down to confront the Baleful Shadow. Ranni will give you the Discarded Palace Key if you defeat it.
From your current location, take the elevator down to the Lake of Rot. To get to the Grand Cloister, you'll have to pass through the Lake of Rot. Once you've arrived, turn right and jump down the ledge to reach the bottom, where you'll find a coffin on the Grand Cloister's south side. A sequence will play, and you'll be able to combat Astel at this point.
