Elden Ring: Where to find Golden Sunflower and what it does

In Elden Ring, there are a few golden crafting materials, but none are quite like Golden Sunflower. This weird luminous plant can help you equip holy damage to your weaponry and even reduce the efficiency of foes' holy strikes. Despite its potential, the substance is only found in isolated portions of the map and cannot be purchased.

Golden Sunflower spawns primarily in locations near Minor Erdtrees. The material is most densely occupied in the Altus Plateau, which is found in the northwest corner of the map. The Golden Sunflowers are mostly found in a valley straight east of Altus's Mirage Rise location (as marked below). It is Golden Sunflowers are scarce and far between, but they are bright enough to be seen from afar.

All objects that deal or negate holy damage – an element that is particularly lethal against undead enemies — are made from this substance. Holy Grease, Sacred Order Pot, Haligbone Bolts and Arrows, and Holyproof Dried Liver are all included. Fortunately, finding the Missionary's Cookbook [4] from Minor Erdtree Church, which is also located in Altus Plateau, will unlock the recipes for these products.
