Elden Ring: Where to find Living Jar Shard and what it does
Living Jar Shards are one of the many crafting materials available in Elden Ring. You can either use them to manufacture particular goods or sell them to a merchant if you run out. You'll have to get your hands a little dirty to find them, though.
Living Jar Shards can be gained by killing Living Jars, those goofy-looking jars with long arms and stubby little legs, as the name suggests. When you come across them in the wild, they're usually rather placid, but if you want to stock up on Shards, you'll have to hack away at them until they give up the goodies. So grab a blunt weapon and start slamming.
The Raya Lucaria Academy and the appropriately called Jarburg are two places in the Lands Between where you might encounter Living Jars, but one of the first places you'll likely find one is at Stormveil Castle, just before the arena where you fight Godrick the Grafted.
Go to Grace's Secluded Cell Site and walk across the passage. A cluster of Living Jars, ripe for the harvesting, may be found tucked away at the back of this chamber. But be careful: once you start whacking, a massive Living Pot will rise from the earth, posing a far greater hazard than its lesser counterparts.
Ironjar Aromatics are made using Living Pot Shards and use FP to transform the player's skin to steel, increasing protection and poise but leaving them less mobile and prone to electricity. To manufacture these, first, grab the Perfumer's Cookbook [3], then combine three Living Pot Shards, two Altus Blooms, and a Budding Cave Moss in a Budding Cave Moss.
