Elden Ring: Where to find the Barrier of Gold incantation

The Barrier of Gold is one of Erdtree Worship's incantations. This invocation is ideal for individuals who struggle with magic because it significantly boosts your magic damage negation for you and all adjacent allies. This incantation also has a unique feature that lets you delay its activation until all of your allies have arrived by just holding down the cast button. The first step towards obtaining this incantation is to travel to Altus Plateau's capital city. This is accomplished by earning two Great Runes and defeating the Draconic Tree Sentinel boss that stands in the way of your entrance to the capital. Before entering the capital, you can get Great Runes from Godrick, Rykard, and Radahn.

Make your way down to the wing of the dragon statue once you've entered the capital. To get to the West Rampart Site of Grace, climb the statue. Climb the tree roots from there to reach the Godfrey boss fight. After you've defeated Godfrey, take the elevator out of the boss arena. This will return you to the city's centre.

Follow the path to the bottom. An unseen beetle's tracks will be apparent. Follow it, making sure to avoid or defeat the Crucible Knight in the process. The Barrier of Gold incantation will be dropped if you destroy the invisible insect.
