Elden Ring: Where to find the Opaline Hardtear and Stonebarb Cracked Tear

It appears that defeating any Erdtree Avatar near Minor Erdtree rewards you with one or two tears for your Physick Flask. Of course, some of these tears are very necessary, such as the one that grants endless FP to magic users. The Stonebarb Cracked Tear boosts your odds of cracking an enemy's guard while the Opaline Hardtear gives you 15% bonus damage negation against all elemental damage types. You must travel to the Caelid region in order to get these tears. This is the area between Limgrave and the Mistwood to the east. When you get in the location, the ground will turn a reddish tone. You must travel to the Minor Erdtree in the area on the eastern side of the Caelid region. The best way to get to this region is to go to the Third Church of Marike and teleport to the Bestial Sanctum through the waygate behind the church. You may easily reach the Minor Erdtree by traveling south across the bridge from there. Of course, because of the difference in difficulty between this location and Limgrave, we recommend that you wait for a little before heading out here.

In the place where the Minor Erdtree is, you must vanquish the Putrid Avatar. The Putrid Avatar is identical to the other Erdtree Avatars, with the exception that it occasionally exudes Scarlet Rot. If you aren't careful, this Scarlet Rot can quickly blanket the area and kill you. If you have any Preserving Boluses, bring them with you to assist keep your character alive. This combat can also be done on horseback, which makes things a little easier.
