Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: When is Building Coming Back
Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 3 is nowhere, and it's the second season to be set on the brand-new map that debuted in December 2021. As with every new season, there have been numerous modifications to the game, including map changes, new weapons, previously unvaulted fan-favorite weaponry, new items such as the Siege Cannon, and brand-new mobility mechanics, similar to the sliding feature from Chapter 3 Season 1. The most significant change in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is the absence of construction, which is the one mechanism that distinguishes Fortnite from other battle royale games. It's worth mentioning, though, that the building's disappearance is only temporary and that it will return to the game in the future.
When is Building Coming Back to Fortnite
Buildings will be taken from Fortnite for one week, according to prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX, with several other leakers suggesting it would be nine days. This makes sense because the first update of the season, the 20.10 patch, is scheduled for Tuesday, March 29, nine days after the start of Chapter 3, Season 2.
It's worth mentioning that the building removal only applies to ordinary public matches, which are Solos, Duos, Trios, or Squads matches. In Team Rumble, Creative, and Arena, Fortnite's competitive mode, the building mechanic is still active. So, players who don't like how the building has been removed from Fortnite have options to keep creating in the game.
The purpose of the building's removal is to allow players to practice with the brand-new movement features that have been introduced to Fortnite. Sprinting, mantling and shoulder pounding have all been added to the game, joining the sliding mechanism from Chapter 3 Season 1.
Sprinting is a technique that allows players to sprint faster for a brief amount of time. Players can use Mantling to climb onto rooftops and ledges by jumping near a climbable platform. Players can also burst through doors thanks to the shoulder bash mechanism. All of these new mechanics are active in modes where construction is still allowed, giving players an early peek at how Fortnite will function in the long run once a building is allowed in public matches.
