Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks: Weapon banner release date and 4-star weapons revealed

With Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi set to return in the next Genshin Impact character banner, the weapon banner is sure to change to match the characters. HoYoverse made an announcement about the new weapon banner for the second phase of Genshin Impact version 2.5 a few hours ago.

The game continues to offer 5-star weapons that are best suited for the 5-star character in the event banner, following the tradition. Engulfing Lightning and Everlasting Moonglow are two of the stated weapons, and they are the best-in-class for Raiden Shogun and Kokomi.

Genshin Impact 2.5 next weapons banner release date and 4-stars revealed

On March 8 at 18:00 (UTC+8), the new Genshin Impact weapon banner will be issued alongside the following character banners. Engulfing Lightning (Polearm) and Everlasting Moonglow are two 5-star weapons that will see a significant increase in drop rate (Catalyst).

Meanwhile, the 4-star weapons listed below receive a massive drop rate boost in the new weapon banner:

• Akuoumaru (Claymore)
• Mouun's Moon (Bow)
• Lion's Roar (Sword)
• Favonius Lance (Polearm)
• Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst)

Players can use the Epitomized Path to map a path to one of the promotional weapons, either Engulfing Lightning or Everlasting Moonglow, during this campaign. They can grab the weapon with a maximum of 240 pulls using this function.

It's also worth noting that neither 5-star weaponry nor the regular banner 'Wanderlust Invocation' will be available. As a result, drawing in the next weapon banner is the only method to get these weapons.
