Lost Ark update: Kadan storyline, Abyss Raids, and more

Although the western release of Raiders of the Lost Ark was a success, there are numerous omissions in the worldwide version when compared to the Korean version of the hit MMORPG. The developers discussed the content disparity between the eastern and western versions in a recent official blog post. To fill in the gaps, Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG will release a major update in March.

While the exact date and time have yet to be released, Amazon Games has revealed some key features that will be coming to Arkesia soon. There have also been reports about a future plan based on a community manager's comments. The existence of the roadmap was also acknowledged in the official publication, but its contents were not published.

March brings Lost Ark's first major update

In the near future, several new enhancements to Lost Ark are planned. This list isn't exhaustive, and there may be more modifications and tweaks throughout the month, according to Amazon Games.

New story episode

Players will embark on a quest to find Kadan, the first legendary Guardian Slayer, in a whole new storyline. To find the Final Ark, players will require Kadan. Players will be subject to several limits and recommendations, such as raising their item levels to 1100. Once those are completed, players will be able to visit new locations such as Ishteri and Illusion Bamboo islands, as well as complete new tasks.

New endgame content

Abyss Raids will be a whole new sort of endgame content that will be available to all leveled-up players. The new raids will be similar to Guardian Raids in that players will have to work together in groups to slay a guardian within a certain amount of time. The challenge will, however, be higher than in regular Guardian Raids.

On March 2, the developers published a new post that focused on the current concerns. As fantastic as the release of Raiders of the Lost Ark was, it was not without flaws. Players lacking Crystalline Aura, gold-selling bots, and store products are just a few of the problems.

Some of these issues will most certainly be resolved in March's upgrades, which will be a welcome relief for Lost Ark users. There have also been some concerns regarding Guardian Raids' difficulty, which the devs may fix. While the next Abyss Raid will increase players' skill levels, some Guardian Raid material will be reduced. Amazon Games, on the other hand, claims that the modification is based on existing data and feedback. Players should not expect nerfed difficulties in all future material.
