Gran Turismo 7: How to change to cockpit view

Gran Turismo 7 defaults to a first-person view behind the wheel, which for some may be sufficient. Others, on the other hand, prefer a cockpit perspective, which GT7 luckily provides. Here's how to make a change.

You can switch to the cockpit view at any time while racing by hitting the R1 button. It will alternate between four different perspectives: the wheel, a close-up cam, the bonnet, and lastly the cockpit. It's possible that you'll have to hit R1 several times to reach the desired angle.

In a race for Gran Turismo 7, changing your perspective might be strategic. You'll be able to keep an eye out for other racers approaching from the side or get a glimpse of an impending corner.
