Elden Ring: Where to find D’s brother

As you go through Fia and D's questlines in Elden Ring, you'll receive a letter from Rogier informing you that D, the Hunter of the Dead, has a younger brother who is stuck in a deep beneath slumber. Here's where to look for him and what you'll need to get him to wake up.

D's younger sibling can be found inside the Siofra Aqueduct in Nokron, Eternal City. He'll be sitting by the Mist Gate, which leads to the twin Valiant Gargoyles. On the map below, we've marked the position of this NPC:

If you don't have D's Twinned Armor in your inventory, you won't be able to wake him up. You can get D's armour in one of two ways: either kill him when you first encounter him or cause Fia to kill him by handing him the Weathered Dagger.

You'll be able to take D's armour off his body in either direction. If you have it in your inventory when you talk to D's brother, you can give it to him, but you won't be able to equip it again – at least for the time being.

At the conclusion of Fia's questline, you'll be able to reclaim the armour. Giving D's brother his armour isn't required to finish Fia's quest, but it will have a significant impact on the outcome, as well as win you the Inseparable Greatsword at the end.
