Kirby and the Forgotten Land: How to unlock Fishing

With the introduction of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Nintendo has answered many people's prayers. The pink marshmallow, a fan favorite, comes returning in a brand-new adventure. Kirby and the Forgotten Land is designed in the spirit of Super Mario 3D World, with a plethora of new powers, places to explore, and secrets to discover. On Kirby's next trip, here's how to get fishing.

How to unlock fishing

Waddle Dee Town is a new hub world in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. This town will serve as Kirby and his companions' new base of operations in between missions. Waddle Dee Town will be accessible after finishing the open prologue instruction. Once this hub is unlocked, all rescued Waddle Dees will be able to participate in the hub's different activities. There will be multiple Waddle Dees to find at each stage, and rescuing them is the key to unlocking every feature in Waddle Dee town.

After rescuing 155 Waddle Dees, fishing becomes available. Because this is a large number, a rigorous examination of each stage is required to arrive at this figure. Once Flash Fishing is unlocked, you can go to the tiny pond on the town's outskirts and play whenever you like. It can also be played with a friend in co-op mode.
