Sea of Thieves: How to get the Master Burglar Commendation

Every new setpiece in Sea of Thieves is likely to be accompanied by a set of Commendations, and Season Six's Sea Forts are no exception. Six new Sea Forts may be found in every corner of the map, as well as ten new Commendations that grant Doubloons and new vanity titles. The Master Burglar Commendation is one of the commendations you'll be working towards.

The description states, "Discover 5 secret stowed treasures on a Sea Fort"; the Commendation is graded, with Grade 2 demanding you to discover 15 goodies, and so on. Earning this Commendation isn't difficult, but owing to the random nature of loot in Sea Forts, it may take some time. All you have to do now is open every cabinet door and box lid you come across.

While the Treasury is the major pot you're battling for while seizing a Sea Fort, there are other pieces of furniture and containers strewn about; go up to each cabinet, drawer, or box you see and, if there's a prompt to open it, do so.

It could be completely empty, or it could contain Gold Hoarder trinkets, Mermaid Gems, or Bounty Skulls. Any time you physically pick up such items, it counts as a "hidden stashed treasure" towards the Commendation; Gold Pouches do not count.

It's possible that you'll do this unconsciously while you look for the Storage Room Key in every corner and crevice. We only suggest doing your search after you've cleared the fort, rather than during combat when Phantoms can attack from behind.
