Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin: How to increase your maximum MP

In Stranger of Paradise, MP is an incredibly precious resource. Every stage starts with two bars, and most abilities require one or both of them to be activated. When you attack, you regenerate MP, but with only two bars, it can feel rather limited. Fortunately, there is a means to increase your MP bar's length, but it necessitates good reaction times and gameplay. In Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, here's how to boost your maximum MP.

You can extend or raise your MP bar in two ways. The first and most straightforward method is to use Soul Burst. When an enemy's Break Gauge (the yellow metre beneath their health bar) is reduced to zero, they get bewildered and can be Soul Bursted. This activates a finisher animation and rewards MP to you and everyone on your team, as well as slightly prolonging your MP metre.

Parrying attacks is the second option. Any nameless, purple, or orange attack can be parried, which will slightly increase your MP bar. To get the MP bonus, you must parry the full attack or not take any damage at all. You will not receive the bonus if an attack has three hits and you parry two but are hit by the third.

Parrying needs strong timing and game knowledge, as well as a lot of practice, but by the time you arrive at the boss area, you'll have large MP bars. Keep in mind that if your Break Gauge is shattered, you will lose all of your MP.
