Weird West: Can you replay or choose journeys?
Weird West is divided into five chapters, similar to how the Dishonored games pit you against targets in a series of missions – after all, many of the same people worked on both games. The Bounty Hunter, Pigman, Protector, Werewolf, and Oneirist are among the characters in Weird West's five chapters or travels. As the story progresses, each of them undertakes adventures and makes significant decisions. After completing one excursion, you'll proceed to the next in the same order. But what if you wish to go back in time and change the outcome?
You can't, to put it succinctly. The plot of Weird West is driven by your decisions, and it's thrilling to witness the ramifications of your decisions play out in subsequent chapters. From a technological standpoint, it's easy to see how replaying chapters would mess up all of the branching quests. As one of the tooltips states, "Actions have consequences," allowing you to fudge things that would go against the game's developer Wolfeye Studios' ideology.
However, there's nothing stopping you from going back to an earlier save file and restarting the game with other choices. Remember that you can't just go back to where you were and expect things to change; you'll have to go forward from there to see the benefits of your new decisions. Fans of Dragon Ball Z's Future Trunks arc know precisely what I'm talking about.
