Weird West: Where to search in Quigley’s Lantern Room
Soon after starting their voyage in Weird West, players will see that the game has earned the moniker Weird. In Quigley's Lantern Room, players who advance to the second chapter will be given the duty of searching your previous lodgings for clues.' This could be one of the first perplexing chores as the Weird West begins to embrace the unusual more openly through missions, which are made further worse by the fact that you have to take the skin of some bizarre monstrosity. When you add in the need for stealth, it's easy to see how this may become a tiresome chore that has gamers clicking around aimlessly.
There is a certain room in Quigley's that counts as the main character's old quarters for some inexplicable reason. These 'ancient quarters' are actually two rooms: a parlor room (the aim) and a bedchamber (the room next to it). To avoid notice from the wandering guard, cautiously enter the bedchamber and hide near the headboard.
The mobile desk next to the bed, labeled as a cabinet, is the piece of furniture you'll need to look for. There is a Golden Ace of Spades in this cabinet, as well as a strange letter that is the quest item. Take both of them and leave the same way you came in.
If you threw someone off a balcony, it's the easiest way to get away: you'll take eight damage for the fall, which can be easily compensated by a quick camp once you've left the scene. If you went in with all guns blazing, you probably had all the time you needed to find this note.
