You may find Highroad Cave in Limgrave, on the western edge of the canyon, just north of Saintsbridge, albeit you must enter from further south, above Murkwater Catacombs. It contains wolves, bats, land octopi, and the Guardian Golem boss, so don't attempt it until you've leveled up and are comfortable taking on named opponents.

We'd advise recommending bringing a torch as it can get dark inside. You'll also encounter several drops you can't climb out of, and since you can't fast travel from caverns or dungeons, if you're outmatched, your only options are death or beating the monster.

Exploring Highroad Cave

Inside is the necessary Site of Grace, plus a Summoning Pool for backup. You'll locate a cave with three wolves after locating your first Cave Moss deposit (two are hidden away to the left). A Golden Rune may be found behind this cave, with two more wolves, one an Alpha (1).

You can go up the slope to the left for more Cave Moss, then retrace to the right for another cave with two wolves. The left path leads to a body holding Arteria Leaves, but watch out for the wolf lurking around the corner.

Traverse carefully to uncover four more wolves, including another white Alpha (the right path leads back to this area). You'll find additional Cave Moss and some Fire Grease to enflame your blade (which might come in handy). Follow the walkway to the bat-filled middle area. Surrounded by a corpse and a Smithing Stone, drop down to the first ledge, where you'll confront your first winged enemy (1).

Return to the smaller waterfall, where two bats guard the entrance to a cave containing several small land octopi, a Smithing Stone (2), and a Golden Rune (4). The next portion requires a risky jump from the waterfall to the broken pillar below. If you die, resurrect at the Stake of Marika by the entryway to skip all wolves and easily retrieve any lost runes. It's also possible to skip the waterfall jump by respawning on a higher pillar and falling down to the small candle-lit ledge.

You'll need to fend off the remaining of the bats, including a few strays, so a little ranged reconnaissance can help. After clearing it, the Shamshir curved blade is nearby.

How to find and defeat the Guardian Golem in Highroad Cave

From here, you can either climb the steps and jump across to the left tunnel, where you'll confront a massive land octopus, or follow the tunnel around to the right, where you'll find a Furlcalling Finger Remedy on the ledge visible from the center. Simply hop to the submerged pillar to find Silver Fireflies in a cave before crossing the mist to rouse the Guardian Golem monster.

Aim for the Golem's weak points in its lower legs, especially its ankles, which might lead it to fall to the ground, exposing its chest to critical hits. Keep to the rear of the Golem's feet to avoid the worst of its strikes, but be prepared to dodge out to avoid its ground-pounding hits (or to top up your health). Having a ghostly Ash to bring in as an ally and/or diversion can go a long way regardless of your build.

Defeating the Golem rewards you with the Blue Dancer Charm, a talisman that increases damage while reducing your loadout (thus stowing secondary weapons increases your primary's damage), and you can utilize the wispy shortcut back to the entrance to finish off your Elden Ring to-do list.
