Elden Ring: How to get the Greatbow

The Greatbow is a classic weapon that is ideal for anyone looking to boost their strength. Of course, the Greatbow isn't always the most accessible weapon. This bow is used by a variety of opponents, although only a few of them actually drop it. In Altus Plateau, though, you can find a guaranteed Greatbow. The Greatbow can be obtained in Elden Ring in the following manner.

You'll need to go east to the Caelid region or north to the Altus Plateau before you can get your hands on the Greatbow. You'll be looking for Fort Gael in the Caelid region if you decide to visit. This fort is located on Caelid's western flank. The Greatbow has a chance to be dropped by the Radahn Knights in this fort. This doesn't happen all that often, and it's a lot more work than going to the Altus Plateau.

You must first obtain the two pieces of the Dectus Medallion from Fort Faroth and Fort Haight before proceeding to Altus Plateau. This will allow you to employ Dectus' Grand Lift. You can always travel through the dungeons that connect Liurnia to the plateau if you don't want to take the lift.

Once you've arrived at Altus Plateau, take the route east and then north. The Highway Lookout Tower is located outside the northern portion of the capital city wall. Climb to the top of the tower to find the Greatbow hidden in a chest. As you approach the tower, be wary of the trebuchets that will be firing at you.
